Fourth reference by Titan’s Halo comes from dutch producers Syncom Data, the masterminds behind label SD Records, and usual suspects of the best dutch labels like Bunker or Vonk. We Won’t They Will is a conceptual avant-techno track in two different takes, plus remixes by Kangding Ray and The Transhumans.
In We Won’t They Will, Syncom Data intent to depict robots frantically working in an unknown space project related to the Titan’s Halo colony. The track title, We Won’t They Will, tries to reflect the following statement: it is more than likely that all future explorations and constructions held in space or in other planets or stars, will be conducted by intelligent robots, including only a human monitoring or performed by remote control. The result is quite industrialesque, two raw, hypnotic and minimalistic tracks, rich in metallic and plastic elements going on and off the track. The first approach called Transition Mix makes clear separation between the parts, whilst the Expanding Mix establishes a long ascending continuum.
Now, talking remixes, Kangding Ray drags the original track into a deep and thick joint, rich in sound pressure and echo chambers, incorporating the state of the art signature sound of its own. The Transhumans go for a harder take of the track, adding millsian and hoodesque elements by infesting the track with floating synth lines and quantum mechanics to the percussions, that would destroy every floor it encounters.
Design has been crafted by Spanish artist Luishock, who has been inspired by the Leonardo Da Vinci black & white sketches and the Paleofuturism blogspot images to create what seems like a spacecraft, a space-station or simply any kind of structure engineered by the robots work. Finally, all tracks have been mastered by Xergio Córdoba at Eternal Midnight studios.

La nueva referencia de Titan’s Halo ha sido creada por los productores holandeses Syncom Data, capos del sello SD Records y asiduos en publicaciones de sellos de la escena de La Haya como Bunker o Clone. We Won’t, They Will es un track conceptual en clave avant-techno, que cuenta con dos diferentes versiones, además de remezclas obra de Kangding Ray y The Transhumans.
En las dos versiones de este tema, Syncom Data están intentando describen unos robots trabajando frenéticamente en algún proyecto desconocido relacionado a la colonia de Titan’s Halo. El título del tema, We Won’t, They Will, intenta reflejar una máxima que será común en años venideros para la exploración y construcción espacial: estas estarán conducidas en su mayoría por robots inteligentes, e incluyendo solamente una monitorización humana realizada desde largas distancias, por control remoto. Ambos temas suenan crudos e hipnóticos, un mono-loop mecánico y metálico que refleja un trabajo automatizadamente frenético. La primera toma, llamada Transition Mix, realiza una clara separación de las partes, mientras que el Expanding Mix establece un largo e intenso continuum ascendente.
En cuanto a las remezclas se refiere, Kangding Ray hunde el original en una atmósfera densa y profunda, tan rica en presión sonora como en cámaras de eco, y dotando al track de su propia e inconfundible firma sonora imbuida en los parámetros de arte sonoro del sello Raster Noton en el que se ha forjado el francés. The Transhumans, por su parte, realizan una versión más dura del original, añadiendo la sutileza detroitera de Mills y Hood, al infestar el tema de lineas de sinte flotantes que reptan sobre el tema sobre una base percusiones mecanizadas quánticamente que destruirán cualquier pista de baile que se le ponga por delante.
El arte del disco ha corrido a cargo del artista español Luishøck, quién se ha inspirado en los bocetos a carboncillo de Leonardo Da Vinci y en las imágenes del blog Paleofuturism para crear lo que parece ser una nave o estación espacial, o simplemente un tipo de estructura hecha por los robots. Finalmente, todos los temas han sido masterizados por Xergio Córdoba en los estudios de Eternal Midnight.
